At the core of his research program lies the goal of advancing methodologies in implementation science, which includes developing and refining implementation strategies for effectively supporting the adoption and sustained use of healthcare interventions in complex healthcare settings.

Furthermore, another primary focus is advancing equity-focused and community-engaged Implementation Science to address disparities in healthcare for marginalized populations affected by HIV and viral hepatitis. This involves identifying barriers, such as stigma, and using process mapping to improve care pathways for marginalized populations. His research also emphasizes the application of advanced conceptual and analytical approaches to enhance the understanding of implementation strategies, with a particular focus on decentralized point-of-care testing for HIV and viral hepatitis.

The ultimate goal is to generate critical evidence and advance methodologies to ensure that healthcare interventions are designed with equity at their core.
